qualità e responsabilità sociale” - ID code IT-IT-G2-MAR-008 The project “Equalità:qualità e responsabilità sociale” aims to resolve discrimination and or exclusion problems through the activation of a system action that involves both the distributors and the users of services and produces changes about the quality of final products and the consequent reinforcement of enterprises and workers. For this purpose “Equalità” proposes an innovative approach through the experimentation of quality certification (UNI-EN-ISO 9001:2000) side by side among contracting Bodies and distributors ones,and about Social Enterprises,through quality rules of work conditions internationally accepted (SA 8000). The achievement of the arguability of results is a priority element of Equalità also on the front of quality betterment of provisioning public system (bids procedures).In the perspective of mainstreaming ,particular importance has the setting-up of a model, guidelines and indicators that allows at contracting local public system to include the factors of social responsibility and quality and environmental one in the bids procedures. Spain – DP “Nexus Rede” - ID code ES-ES20040332 The project EQUAL II – NEXUS REDE, is supported by the European Social Found and it aims to provide innovative solutions and technology information tools for the cooperatives adaptability to the economical changes. NEXUS REDE is developed by a national partnership conformed by public and private bodies involved in cooperative promotion. One of the NXRD working areas, will be the definition of criteria and practices in quality models. It will be based on the experimentation with different quality systems, adapted to the characteristics of cooperative management. Futhermore, NEXUS REDE will carry out with the innovation and the betterment of the implementation of SRC criteria, in cooperatives. The best practices from the NEXUS REDE national achievements will be shared in the Transnational Project, they will allow the diffusion of common results in the European framework and the exchange of best practices from EQUALITY partnership. Poland – DP “We can do more – partnership in support of social cooperatives” - ID code PL-36 The main objective of the project “We can do more – partnership in support of social cooperatives” is to develop a practical model of a social co-operative for the socially excluded on the basis of experience contributed by the countries implementing such projects. In accordance with the project methodology, the final beneficiaries chosen there will be groups of the project beneficiaries. The core group is made up of representatives of the youth in young offenders’ homes, penitentiary centres and children’s homes, or young people leaving prisons the second one will include the unemployed with a long history of unemployment, with educational background or experience in economics, law, etc., unable to find work on the open labour market. Implementation of the project is divided into few stages. Apart from the organisation of the Partnership’s work, market research and analyses will be initiated in order to learn about the conditions of project implementation. Thanks to the analyses, DP will gain information on legal and organisational aspects of setting up social co-operatives on the basis of Polish law; market gaps for food and catering co-operatives will be analysed as well as need of beneficiaries of final products and their motivation towards setting up co-operatives. In addition, good practices in working with similar groups of beneficiaries will be analysed together with training programmes and rehabilitation programmes useful in the process of developing model solutions. At that stage, trainers will be trained to run training for the beneficiaries during the project. Afterwards module trainings for beneficiaries will be arranged. At the initial stage, the psychological and economic modules and motivation training will be run separately for the core and supporting group; however, as soon as they are finished, both groups will start working jointly during team building training and as an operating simulation enterprise. Eventually, business plan of the planned social co-operative will be developed. In addition, traineeships in enterprises will be arranged for selected project beneficiaries leading to building a team of social co-operative members and employees and dividing roles and competences in the team as well as testing the social co-operative and checking practical skills with respect to the work to be performed in the co-operative. The business plan will serve as the starting point of another stage, i.e. verifying practical aspects of the newly created model of a co-operative for the socially excluded. The Partnership will support beneficiaries during the process of registration and setting up the enterprise. Thanks to the employment opportunities, beneficiaries could use their knowledge and skills and, in consequence, generate income in order to improve their economic standing and their social standing, in a longer run. The co-operative will strive to remain on the market by diversifying its products and services, increasing their quality and increasing the number of employees corresponding to the increase. At the last stage of the project, implementation of the objectives, activities and ratios will be analysed and evaluated; On the basis of the analyses, the model could be revised and adopted to the actual economic conditions. As a result, manuals and guidebooks for founders of social co-operatives will be prepared as well as recommendations for the social and economic policy of the state. Throughout the period of the project implementation, promotional and dissemination activities will be taken to propagate the idea of social employment, social co-operatives and, in general terms – social economy.
